AUTODESK & ENGINEERING CAPABILITY
AXANH’s Autodesk Technology Journey
AXANH’s Autodesk technology journey connects Autodesk Civil 3D adoption, Autodesk-published proof, regional industry conversations, recurring capability development, and ISO 19650 learning. Together, these milestones show how technology has become part of a broader engineering capability system built in Vietnam.
The value is not software access alone. It grows when engineers revisit capability, share practical knowledge, strengthen review, and carry useful learning into the next project and the next generation of the team.
AUTODESK-PUBLISHED STORY
Autodesk documented an early Civil 3D chapter
Autodesk published the Civil 3D transformation story from the years when our organization operated as AXA Engineers. That external record preserves an early chapter of the engineering heritage that continues under AXANH today.
The lasting value of that chapter goes beyond software adoption. It established a visible connection between technology use, practical learning, and the broader ambition to develop Vietnamese engineering capability for international work.
Autodesk’s published story provides an external reference point for the earlier Civil 3D chapter behind AXANH’s current capability journey.
THE JOURNEY
Seven milestones in AXANH’s Autodesk technology journey
The timeline moves from technology adoption to industry participation, recurring capability development, and a deeper focus on information management. Each milestone matters because it changed what the team could learn, revisit, share, or take responsibility for next.
FOUNDATION
Autodesk Civil 3D transformation
During the AXA Engineers years, Civil 3D became an important part of the team’s engineering and digital-delivery development. Autodesk later documented that experience through its own success-story platform.
The lasting value was not simply adopting new software. It was the beginning of a longer question: how can technology help engineering capability keep developing?
2023
Autodesk Converge 2023
AXA Engineers was invited to share part of its development journey at Autodesk Converge 2023, connecting Civil 3D adoption with operating practices, learning, and the development of engineering capability.
A team that had spent years learning was beginning to contribute part of that experience to a wider industry conversation.
2024
Autodesk APAC Panel Discussion
AXA Engineers participated in an Autodesk APAC Panel Discussion, bringing experience with Civil 3D, technology adoption, operating practices, and team development into a wider regional conversation.
Being invited to share increased the responsibility to keep learning so that public perspective remained grounded in real practice.
2024
Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards
AXA Engineers took part in the Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards 2024, adding an innovation-focused regional setting to a journey already shaped by Civil 3D adoption, learning, and professional exchange.
The milestone widened the context: technology capability was becoming connected with a broader conversation about how engineering practice can continue to improve.
16 JUNE 2026
Autodesk joins AXANH’s 10-year milestone
Representatives from Autodesk and OneCAD joined AXANH’s 10-year celebration and were invited to share the ceremonial opening toast with AXANH leadership.
For AXANH, their presence added a human dimension to a technology journey that had already developed through years of learning and professional exchange.
28 SEPTEMBER 2026
30 Civil 3D Completion Certificates
An Autodesk representative presented Civil 3D Completion Certificates to 30 AXANH infrastructure design engineers. The milestone sits within AXANH’s recurring approach to revisiting and developing Civil 3D capability over time.
The value is not a one-day certificate ceremony. It is keeping an important working capability visible, revisited, and developing as the engineering team grows.
28 SEPTEMBER 2026
ISO 19650 learning with Autodesk
On the same day, an Autodesk representative led a learning session on applying ISO 19650 in BIM and information management. For AXANH, the session added another layer to the journey: moving beyond model production toward stronger information-management discipline.
The immediate value is a clearer reference point for how AXANH can continue maturing digital-delivery systems as client requirements become more structured.
Scope note: Civil 3D Completion Certificates are completion records, not Autodesk Professional Certification. The ISO 19650 milestone describes a learning session and does not state that AXANH is ISO 19650 certified or Autodesk-validated for ISO 19650 compliance.
BEYOND SOFTWARE
Technology matters when capability remains
Software can solve production needs. Organizational capability asks a harder question: what remains in the team after the training session ends?
AXANH aims to connect technology access with recurring learning, assessment, review, and knowledge transfer. The point is not to put software at the center of the story. It is to help engineers use technology with stronger context, judgment, and responsibility.
01
LEARN
Build practical understanding
Engineers need exposure to changing tools, methods, and standards in a form that can be connected to real engineering work.
02
REVISIT
Revisit important capability
Experience matters, but capability should not be assumed indefinitely. Recurring checkpoints create a clearer basis for continuing development.
03
SHARE
Share useful knowledge
Useful lessons can become guidance, review points, and shared practice so the next engineer does not need to rediscover every answer alone.
04
APPLY
Keep accountability human
Technology supports the work. Review, confidentiality, engineering judgment, and responsibility still need to remain clear around that work.
For clients and partners, the stronger signal is continuity: important software capability is revisited, useful knowledge is shared, and information-management discipline continues to mature.
A SHARED MILESTONE
A company milestone brought the journey together
When AXANH marked its first decade on June 16, 2026, we were grateful to welcome representatives from Autodesk and OneCAD among the guests joining the celebration. They were invited to share the ceremonial opening toast with AXANH leadership.
Their presence was meaningful to us because technology, learning, and professional exchange had already been part of our journey for several years. We appreciated the opportunity to share this milestone with people whose work had intersected with important parts of that broader journey.
The celebration added a human dimension to a journey that had largely been told through technology, learning, and professional development.
STORIES FROM THE JOURNEY

JOINING THE CONVERSATION
Where AXANH hopes to contribute next
We still have much to learn. As AXANH continues to develop, we hope to take part in conversations where our experience from Vietnam can add a useful perspective alongside the experience of others.
01
Scaling Civil 3D capability
How recurring learning and assessment can help a team move from individual software proficiency toward a capability that can be developed more consistently across an organization.
02
Engineering across borders
What it takes for a Vietnam-based engineering organization to develop the technical context, communication habits, and professional discipline required for cross-border project work.
03
From tools to information management
How a technology journey can move from model production toward stronger information management, structured delivery, and continuing learning around standards such as ISO 19650.
04
Responsible AI in engineering
Where AI may assist selected engineering tasks, and why human verification, confidentiality, and professional responsibility still need to remain explicit around the workflow.
LOOKING AHEAD
A 2027 aspiration: Autodesk University
Looking ahead to 2027, we hope to have the opportunity to participate in Autodesk University — first and foremost to learn from the global Autodesk community, connect with practitioners and technology leaders, and broaden our perspective on the future of engineering delivery.
If an opportunity to share arises, we would be grateful for the chance to contribute part of our own journey from Vietnam: how Civil 3D, structured learning, cross-border engineering experience, and a growing focus on standards have influenced the way our engineering capability has developed over time.
Our first priority is to learn from the community. If the opportunity arises, we would be grateful to contribute something useful in return.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
Keep learning. Make the journey useful.
We are grateful for the role Autodesk technology and the wider Autodesk community have played in different chapters of our engineering development. Our responsibility is to make those opportunities count by continuing to strengthen capability, judgment, and knowledge across our team.
The next chapter is not about accumulating milestones. It is about continuing to learn, improving the way we work, and, when we have something genuinely useful to share, contributing thoughtfully to the wider professional community.
