In 2023, before AXANH became the name we use today, AXA Engineers stepped onto the stage at Autodesk Converge Vietnam to share part of its Civil 3D journey.
The significance of that invitation was specific. AXA Engineers was not simply attending the event. The organization was there to share its development journey as a success story—a story considered worth bringing into a wider Autodesk industry conversation.
Looking back from AXANH today, that moment matters for another reason as well. It gives us a clear historical reference point for a technology journey that did not end when the presentation was over.
Historical note
This story reflects an event from the period when our organization operated as AXA Engineers. AXA Engineers is the engineering heritage that built AXANH. Historical events retain the AXA Engineers name when that was the name in use; the current and future journey continues under AXANH.

A success story worth sharing
The words success story are important here because they describe more than participation in an event.
AXA Engineers was invited to Autodesk Converge 2023 to share its Civil 3D journey in a success-story context. In practical terms, the story of how the organization had been developing its use of Autodesk technology and engineering capability was itself being presented as an example worth sharing with the audience.
That recognition should be understood within its proper scope. It did not mean Autodesk was certifying every AXA Engineers deliverable, endorsing every service, or guaranteeing project outcomes. What it did mean was meaningful enough: a chapter of AXA Engineers’ development had become a story that Autodesk considered relevant to bring into a broader professional conversation.

Autodesk also documented part of the earlier Civil 3D transformation through a published success story. Together, that public record and the Converge invitation preserve an important part of the organization’s engineering heritage.
What the story was really about
Civil 3D was an important part of the story, but the more useful interpretation goes beyond software adoption.
A technology license can provide access to a tool. Organizational capability develops when engineers learn how to use that tool in context, when workflows become more disciplined, when review becomes part of the process, and when knowledge can move beyond the person who first acquired it.
This was the deeper thread behind the AXA Engineers story. Civil 3D was becoming connected with engineering work, professional learning, workflow development, and the larger ambition of creating opportunities for Vietnamese engineers to contribute to international project environments.
That distinction matters because software adoption and capability development are not the same thing. A company can acquire technology quickly. Developing people, judgment, working habits, and repeatable knowledge takes longer.

Why Autodesk Converge mattered in 2023
The value of the event was not simply that AXA Engineers had a stage.
Sharing the story required the organization to look beyond day-to-day production and explain what had been developing underneath it. That meant connecting technology with people, working practices, learning, and engineering capability rather than presenting Civil 3D as an isolated software achievement.
For a Vietnam-based engineering organization working with international project environments, that conversation also carried a broader meaning. It created an opportunity to show that Vietnamese engineers could participate in a global technology and engineering conversation not only as software users, but as professionals developing their own experience, capability, and perspective.
That is a more useful way to understand the milestone today. The important part was not visibility for its own sake. It was the opportunity to articulate a chapter of development that had already been taking shape inside the organization.
What remained after the event
An event lasts for a day. The more important test is what remains after the stage, photographs, and presentations are over.
For the organization, the technology journey continued.
Civil 3D capability was not treated as something that could be learned once and then assumed indefinitely. Professional exchange continued. Capability development continued. The relationship between technology, learning, review, and engineering responsibility became a larger part of the conversation.
The lasting value of the 2023 moment was therefore not the label success story by itself. Its value was that the story became one chapter in a longer process of building capability that could continue to develop after the event.
This is also where the historical story becomes relevant to AXANH today. The name has changed, but useful engineering knowledge does not need to disappear when a company enters a new chapter. It can be revisited, strengthened, shared, and carried forward.
The journey continued
Autodesk Converge 2023 did not become an isolated milestone. Later activities added different dimensions to the same broader journey—from regional professional exchange to structured capability development and a growing awareness of digital-delivery standards.
AXA Engineers was invited to Autodesk Converge Vietnam to share its Civil 3D development journey as a success story.
AXA Engineers participated in an Autodesk APAC Panel Discussion, bringing part of its technology and development experience into a wider regional conversation.
Representatives from Autodesk and OneCAD joined AXANH’s 10-year celebration, connecting an important company milestone with relationships formed along the broader technology journey.
AXANH joined an Autodesk-led learning session on applying ISO 19650, while Civil 3D Completion Certificates were presented to 30 AXANH infrastructure design engineers.
These milestones do not all mean the same thing. Event participation is not certification. Training is not ISO 19650 certification. A Completion Certificate is not the same as an Autodesk Certified Professional credential.
What the milestones do show, when viewed together, is continuity: Autodesk technology, professional exchange, structured learning, and capability development have remained connected at different stages of the organization’s journey.
From AXA Engineers to AXANH
Historical accuracy matters to us.
The organization that attended Autodesk Converge Vietnam in 2023 was AXA Engineers. That is the name that belongs in this story, because rewriting the event as though AXANH already existed would erase part of the journey rather than clarify it.
AXA Engineers is the engineering heritage that built AXANH. The experience, learning, relationships, and engineering foundation developed through those years continue forward under the AXANH brand.
That continuity is why this story now belongs on axanh.com. It is not being moved here to replace the history. It is here so the history can be understood as part of the larger journey that followed.
For readers who want to see how these milestones connect, AXANH’s Autodesk Technology Journey brings together the wider progression from the Civil 3D chapter to later industry conversations, capability development, and digital-delivery learning.

The technology journey continues at AXANH through learning, capability development, and professional exchange.
Looking back with gratitude
We remain grateful for the opportunity Autodesk provided for AXA Engineers to share that chapter at Autodesk Converge Vietnam 2023.
Being invited to tell the story as a success story was meaningful. With the benefit of hindsight, however, the greater value of that moment is not the recognition alone. It is what the moment allows us to see more clearly today.
Technology had begun to become part of something larger: the development of people, engineering practice, knowledge, and organizational capability.
That work continues.
The next chapter is not about accumulating more milestones for a timeline. It is about making each opportunity to learn more useful—strengthening judgment, sharing knowledge, revisiting capability, and continuing to build an engineering organization that can carry greater responsibility over time.
